I know that I have offered you some television shows to watch and you are wondering what’s up….COVID is up (therefore more television time) but apart from that, you can learn a lot of very valuable information from reality shows. Granted, they are always editing to make things more interesting but regardless, there is so much to learn about relationships.
One of the great shows out there that can help you in your journey of understanding is Temptation Island. Couples go to this show and are separated by gender. Then, women have men pour in and women have men pour in and, for lack of a better word, they are ‘tempted’. Some give in, others betray their true colors, who they always were.
The end of the show is most interesting as some people go back home together with a newfound respect, others choose to go home alone, and yet others with new lovers.
The dynamics of what takes place and how it takes place teaches a lot. Watch it (USA Network), and then when we reach our critical mass we can have some people make comments and this is one show that opens up a lot of room for conversation.
The show is in season 2 now, but if you watch it (11 episodes plus the reunion), at the reunion pay special attention to the following and tell me whether you agree (PS please note in my comments in am not taking sides, not making judgments, simply observing, and you should do the same, as hard as it can be, otherwise you lose a lot of what you can gain from the experience):
